Shepherd Leadership : Wisdom for Leaders from Psalm 23

It's been a while since I've posted anything here. It's not exactly something I think about a lot.  I'm away from home in an exotic Asian setting looking out of a hotel window at mountains shrouded in clouds right on the edge of a fair-sized city.  You can tell you are in Asia because there is a 7-11 store on nearly every block and HUGE Fuji film and Samsung billboards on nearly every corner. There are also KFC stores and Dunkin Donuts (the "gem of Asia") in many prominent locations.  Exotic.

The word of the day is:  pecuniary - due to a mistake I made at an ATM that uses a non-Roman script  and an odd exchange rate (and due to jet lag, tiredness, and carelessness). Other appropriate words are: fiduciary, fiscal, and poverty.

I like having my kids at home - or at least where I know where they are and what they are doing. Not that very often know where I am or what I'm doing. Fair's fair, I guess.

Most people are very self-centered - so much so that they hardly ever stop to think of me.
